Email Marketing- Creating Emails That Sell

Using online marketing to sell your product or service? If you do, then most likely you may also use auto-responders to create emails to market to your list AKA- email marketing. If you are like most marketers, then you’re probably on many lists and get a lot of emails each day, and from my personal experience, sometimes those emails are nothing but pushy and sales-y.

So how do you create emails that will actually get people interested in buying your stuff? It’s a formula called  “Systematic Profits” All this is, is a series of five open ended, high drama emails that builds rapport with your list. Each email is like a chapter and connected with each other. Below is the formula for each email:

  1. Email One- Introduce who you are, what you stand for, and what your prospects can expect from you.
  2. Email Two- Tell your backstory, this is your story of how you got to where you are today.
  3. Email Three- Explain the one thing that turned everything around for you and started you on your journey to success or the result you were looking for in the first place.
  4. Email Four- Talk about the hidden benefits of that one thing that got you going. (Example: I knew that by using XYZ product, I’d lose weight, but I didn’t realize that I’d have so much more energy to play with my kids)
  5. Email Five- This final email is made to create urgency, a last call type of deal! (Example: Receive 2 free bottles of XYZ when you buy one today by midnight!)

You can make your emails as long as you like, but remember the more stories you tell, the more you’ll connect with your list and start building rapport with them. With this email marketing formula, you’ll be on your way to selling more products/services or opportunities. Don’t forget to use interesting subject lines, so that your list will actually open and read your emails!
