How To Invite

So what is the proper way to invite people to see your business offer? I used to be completely lost on how I should approach people, but now I follow a guideline in getting others to see what I have. There are many different ways that you can invite prospects, but it is important to keep things as simple as possible so your team can duplicate your success-after all network marketing is all about duplication!

If you take a look at Lisa Grossman, (whose team is well over 100,000 people, although she only personally brought in about 40!) she used these four guidelines to help grow her team:

  • Are they happy? You are looking for people who are not happy with their current situation. Someone who has dissatisfaction may not come right out and say they are unhappy, so that is why building friendships and rapport is key. When you form real friendships, you will understand what is bothering them in their life and you’ll be able to relate to them. Then you ask…
  • Do they have a plan? Most people do not have a plan other than work, save and repeat. If you ask most people what their life will look like in 5 years, they will probably say they’ll be doing the same thing (or maybe a promotion within their job). If your friend doesn’t have another plan, and you honestly think your offer can help them out, then you can ask…
  • Would they like to see a plan? Most marketers don’t ask if they want to see something, instead they just rush right into the pitch; either networkers are too excited or they are in a hurry to make a sale. When you actually ask someone if they’d like to see something, if they say “yes” it makes it their idea, instead of yours!
  • Take it away. I’ve said this in previous posts, but I’ll say it again- People love to buy, but hate to be sold! So when you explain that this may not be for them, you are bringing down their guard; because even though we have deal, this business model really isn’t for everyone!

Using this guideline, you will find that you will be able to invite prospects easily to see your business, products, or services!
