The 3 T’s Of Business

When it comes to building a business, there are some things that need to get done. Doing these 3 things will help you build for the long run, not just for a few months or a year or two. If you are serious about growing your organization, then starting here will help build your foundation because it needs to be strong if you want it to succeed.

  • TELL THE TRUTH What does this mean? I’m not talking about just in general; I’m talking about telling yourself the truth. What do you really want out of life? What level or rank do you really want to achieve in your company? Everybody can say they want to be top level, but is that really what you want? If so, then great! If not, that’s fine too, but guess what, the truth is you CAN do whatever level of achievement you wish….. but the different question and true question to ask is “Will you do it?”  Are you willing to get uncomfortable? Are you willing to do the work required? Are you willing to become teachable, are you willing to learn and develop the necessary skills? Stop short chaining yourself. Embrace the fact you actually can do it. You need to decide your willingness because truth is- anyone can be successful, but not everyone is willing to….
  • TILL THE SOIL What is this? It’s your mindset. You need to start digging away and turning your negative thoughts and chit-chat to more positive thinking. There is no way to be successful for long if you have bad thoughts and doubts running around in your head. Pay attention to what you’re thinking about, what you say and what/who you allow to be around you. This type of business is a truth telling business-it will either expose you or promote you. What kind of self limiting beliefs are holding you back and holding your dreams captive? Understand the time is NOW- do your self development daily!
  • TURN UP That means even if you hold a meeting and no-body shows up, so what? Do your presentation anyway- at least you’ll get practice! I’ve done this plenty of times… I’ve held webinars where it was just me. Guess what? I did it anyway…If you have only 1 person show up and they are 2 hours late….don’t get mad, just do it and have fun with it and learn to adjust to your situation. The only thing you need to focus on is where you want to go, how many people you want to help, and what you really want to be doing in the future.  Do something everyday for your business; be consistent.

These three are the starting points of building a business and helping you to also build a strong foundation. If you put these into practice your business will be on great grounds to grow!
